One of 2014's biggest games, "Titanfall," will be exclusive to Microsoft platforms "for the life of the title" rather than for a six-month or one-year period. The futuristic, first-person action game is the first title from new studio Respawn, formed by the "Call of Duty" creators Vince Zampella and Jason West in 2010 when the pair quit the studio they'd founded in a dispute over royalty payments and creative control. It had been thought that "Titanfall" would be tied to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PCs for a limited time after its March 2014 launch, but an October 29 clarification from the Chief Financial Officer at game publisher Electronic Arts put paid to that assumption.
