Anticipating the PlayStation 4's North American launch on November 15, Microsoft issued an exhaustive list of media partners for its later Xbox One entertainment console. In fact, there are two: not all the music, movie and TV apps will be available at launch, and you'll need an Xbox Live subscription to access them, regardless of whether you pay for them separately or not. The Xbox One itself launches on November 22 in 13 territories, a week before the PS4's debut in Europe, Latin America, and Oceania -- hence the desire for visibility right now. Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Machinima, TED, NFL, ESPN, Twitch, Redbox, FOX and Hulu Plus are around half of the US's selection of third-party apps, while other countries have between 5 and 13 apps apiece.
