Just 18 days after launching its latest console simultaneously in 13 countries, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One has sold over 2 million units. Since November 22, an average of 111,111 Xbox One consoles have been sold daily worldwide. Microsoft reports that Xbox One owners have already spent a total of 83 million hours playing, watching TV or accessing the apps available through the console. These figures indicate that the Xbox One is selling roughly as quickly as its arch rival, the Sony PS4.
