The title, exclusively for PS3, could join a growing list of video games currently being adapted for the cinema. The adaptation has yet to be officially announced, but Sony has registered two domain names that suggest it is considering adapting its exclusive PlayStation 3 game "The Last of Us." At any rate, the Japanese corporation has secured the domain names TheLastOfUs-Movie.com and TheLastOfUsMovie.net, although this could simply be an investment to protect its movie rights to the game in case it decides to pursue an adaptation in the future. But since Sony launched the game last June, the registration of the domain names comes a little too late to represent a precautionary measure. If Sony decides to develop a film based on "The Last of Us," the game will join a host of other games on the road to the silver screen.
