The Electronic Entertainment Expo rumormill is starting to wind up, with talk of a new Nintendo console resurfacing not yet a year and a half after the Wii U's debut. "They're absolutely going to show new hardware this year," said co-host Peer Schneider, after he and his co-hosts established an atmosphere of healthy skepticism. "I've heard it from someone who used to be at Nintendo, I've heard it from somebody on the third-party front." No further detail was given on what exactly that new hardware might be -- console, controller, accessory or something else entirely.
