Ben Foster to play iconic 'World of Warcraft' character

Actors Robin Wright (L) and Ben Foster With Duncan Jones of "Moon" and "Source Code" at the helm, Ben Foster of western "3:10 to Yuma" and beat poet biopic "Kill Your Darlings" is to play the part of Medivh, a powerful sorcerer, in March 2016's "Warcraft" film. According to "World of Warcraft" lore, Medivh's historical allegiances touch on both sides of the game's war between the Horde and the Alliance. "What's exciting about Duncan Jones' take on this video game is that it shows both sides of the war. Other actors previously named include Ryan Robbins and Callum Keith Rennie (both of TV series "The Killing"), who are to play Moroes and Karos respectively -- according to "WoW" lore, Moroes served under Medivh for a time, while Karos is a forest-dwelling humanoid in charge of coordinating bat flight paths.
