What's on at E3: Nintendo Live @ E3

An entirely new "Legend of Zelda" for Wii U was first announced in 2011. Again preferring to stay away from a keynote presentation, Nintendo has a Digital Event broadcast set for June 10 at 9am, an expanded Nintendo Minute straight afterwards, a gaming tournament, as well as live game demos and reveals until June 12. The Wii U might not be able to compete on horsepower alone, but Nintendo is diligently stocking its library with quality titles, while the 3DS and 2DS handhelds are well established as excellent handheld consoles. Most recently, "Mario Kart 8" is enjoying a stellar reception and encouraging more and more to purchase a Wii U, and it is sure to bolster the machine's growing reputation. A new, original entry to the "Legend of Zelda" franchise has been teased since the Wii U was first shown at E3 2011, with further details now promised at E3 2014 (presumably in addition to more on spin-off "Hyrule Warriors");
