'Everybody's Golf' bound for PlayStation 4

The previous "Hot Shots Golf" (shown) was released on both Vita and PS3 The seventh game in Sony's long-running, cartoon-featured golfing series is on its way to the PlayStation 4, with social features forming a core part of the package. Announced as "New Mingol Project" courtesy of a skit video shown during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show presentation, the game features lush greens, sparkling waterways and verdant fairways. Again, it prefers cartoon caricatures to literal realism, as Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida was rendered in bobble-headed style for the introductory video. "Everybody's Golf 6" (known as "Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational" or "Everybody's Golf" outside of Japan) was released as a launch title for the portable PlayStation Vita in December 2011 (February 2012 elsewhere), and then for the PlayStation 3 in November 2012 (July 2013 internationally).
