Alien: Isolation is the latest attempt by video game developers to create an enjoyable, respectful interactive adaptation of the 35-year-old Alien franchise. While sneaking around blasting Xenomorphs in the face seems like the perfect concept for a shooter, not every game was able to capture the core of what makes those movies so great or those aliens so terrifying. You have one of the best haunted houses in science fiction in Alien, and then one of the most intense sci-fi action films in Aliens.
