Nintendo's 3DS line, which includes the 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS and New 3DS XL, is now the eighth Nintendo system to sell at least 15 million units in the U.S., according to internal Nintendo sales figures the company announced this morning. The latest iteration of the 3DS line, the New 3DS XL, helped the line's hardware sales increase by more than 50 percent in the first half of 2015, compared to the same period last year, according to Nintendo. The original 3DS launched in 2011.
